Gollum/Sméagol (or Trahald), was a creature of Hobbit-like origin and a recurring character and (semi) anti-hero in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He is a minor character in The Fellowship of the Ring, the tritagonist turned anti-hero in The Two Towers, and the hidden true secondary antagonist in Return of the King.
