Dio Brando is from the Bizzare Adventure of Jojo, a shonen Series whose first volume released on January 1, 1987. This version of the character is specifically based on the first arc of the manga "Phantom Blood", and the art for the cards is taken from the first season of its anime adaptation, released in 2012.
